Stone & Flower Counseling

Rooted in liberation. Committed to healing.

Welcome to a space where every part of your story is held with care.

A space where we can honor both the weight of trauma and the beauty of survival.

To be free without having to explain your existence.

This practice was named for the stones we carry and the flowers that grow anyway. You are allowed to be both. And you are allowed to heal.

On the Journey To and Through Motherhood?

I specialize in supporting women through infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, loss, and the complex realities of becoming and being a mother. My approach recognizes the full context of your experience.

  • First things first, don't be nervous. We'll start with a free consultation to determine your needs (and if we’re a great fit).

  • I currently have limited availability for new clients in Georgia and Florida. If you're interested in working together, please reach out and I will do my best to get you scheduled as soon as possible. I may also be able to provide referrals or add you to a short waitlist, depending on your needs and schedule.

  • The initial intake session is 75 minutes and costs $175. Ongoing individual sessions are 50 minutes and cost $150.

I am in-network with many insurance plans through Headway. If you choose to use insurance, your benefits must be verified through the Headway platform before we can begin sessions. You can check your coverage and see if I’m in-network at the following link:
    Headway

I also accept Loveland Foundation vouchers and am a participating provider with the Georgia Fund for Perinatal Mental Health.

Sliding scale spots may be available. Please reach out to discuss eligibility.

  • At this time, all sessions are held virtually through the secure Simple Practice platform.

Occasionally, I offer walk-and-talk sessions, which are outdoor, in-person therapy sessions held while walking or hiking together. These sessions are available on a limited basis and are dependent on weather conditions. If you are interested, we will discuss the details in advance, and you will need to sign a separate informed consent form specific to this service.

  • It means that I center the experiences, wisdom, and needs of people who have been historically marginalized, particularly Black women and birthing people.

A womanist and decolonial approach challenges the idea that therapy must be detached, neutral, or rooted in dominant cultural norms.

Instead, I honor cultural knowledge, ancestral strength, and collective healing, while recognizing how systems such as racism, patriarchy, and colonialism shape mental health.

Therapy in this space is both personal and political.

  • You are welcome here.

While my practice centers perinatal and caregiving experiences, you do not need to identify as a mother to receive care.

I support people navigating identity shifts, grief, trauma, and life transitions, regardless of how they define family, parenting, or gender roles.
